Barkley delivers speech with New Orleans terror attack survivor

Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley delivered his Super Bowl parade speech alongside New Orleans terror attack survivor and Montgomery County native Ryan Quigley.

Quigley, a big Eagles fan, was with his friend, Tiger Bech, when a man drove into a crowd of people on New Year’s Eve.

Bech died in the incident and Quigley suffered several broken bones.

Barkley spoke about the resiliency of Philadelphians.

“One thing I’ve learned from being here for a short period of time is that you guys are tough, you guys are resilient, and you guys know how ‘expletive’ fight,” Barkley said. “No one I know better than that more than my boy Ryan (Quigley).”

Quigley then took the mic.

“This city overcomes everything. Say with me, E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles,” he belted out.

A.J. Brown channels his inner ‘Rocky’

A.J. Brown led off his speech with a nod to Rocky.

“Adrian!” he yelled outside on the steps where the movie was made famous.

“We couldn’t do it without you guys. We just want to tell you, man, we love you, and we support y’all. We thank y’all so much,” the Eagles wide receiver said.

He then shared a message to his doubters.

“I got one more thing. They said I was a diva. I said all I care about was stats. If you’re going to get all those things wrong about me, but there’s one thing you can get right: I’m an ‘expletive’ champion.”

Dickerson to fans: ‘We brought home that Lombardi baby’

Eagles guard Landon Dickerson delivered an impassioned speech to fans during Friday’s Super Bowl victory celebration.

“Without you guys, every fan here, every fan in Delco, Montgomery County, Chester County, across PA, Jersey, and across this country, this wouldn’t have been possible,” he said. “I can’t tell you how much we appreciate you guys. Every game, every Sunday, Monday, Thursday, it doesn’t matter. I don’t think I played an away game my entire career.”

Dickerson discussed the feeling of falling short during the 2023 Super Bowl against the Chiefs compared to the way he’s feeling now.

“After 2022, feeling that loss, I didn’t ever want to feel that ‘expletive’ again. It’s a terrible feeling. But you know what? We don’t got to feel it today, baby,” he said as the crowd roared.

Eagles GM Howie Roseman apparently hit in the head with beer can during parade

Philadelphia Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman was seen with a half-circle-shaped wound on his forehead during the Super Bowl celebration on Friday.

Gov. Josh Shapiro shed some light on what happened: the Eagles executive was apparently hit in the head with a beer can during the parade.

“Philly, you put on a hell of a parade today. Everything was perfect,” Shapiro said. “Except for some of y’all who didn’t know how to toss a beer nicely. You fired it too hard! Just ask Howie Roseman.”

Roseman himself seemed to make a reference to his injury.

“I bleed for this city!” he yelled during the celebration at the Art Museum.

He said fans should be ready for another exciting season.

“We’re two-time world champs and we’re coming back strong!” Roseman said. “Go Birds!”
